Parents, 

The 3rd and 4th grade class has been studying cells. For our Science Project, each student is assigned to build a plant cell. A picture of the plant cell can be found in their textbook on page 18. Students may use edible or inedible items to build the cell. It must contain all seven organelles.  For samples of the type of cells you can build, go to Google and type in : "samples of plant cells for students". Click on "images" at the top. This should give you some ideas. Students should be able to identify each organelle and explain its function. (See student's Science notes or p. 21 in textbook). The project is due on October 15, 2025.
